This ECU Performance Optimization improves throttle precision, power delivery and overall rideability while addressing the limitations of the stock calibration.

EXHAUST CONFIGURATION OPTIONS

The calibration is adapted depending on your exhaust setup:

With catalytic converter:
• Closed-loop control remains active
• Lambda sensors stay operational

Without catalytic converter:
• Optional deactivation of SLS
• Optional deactivation of deceleration fuel cut
• Optimized mapping for unrestricted exhaust flow

QUICKSHIFTER OPTION

The KTM 690 SMCR Euro 4 is not equipped with a factory quickshifter.

A quickshifter function can be optionally added via ECU programming.

This includes:

• Activation of quickshifter functionality
• Ignition cut timing calibration
• Optimization for smooth and stable shifting under load

The result is fast, clean and clutchless upshifts, especially beneficial for performance and Supermoto applications.

PERFORMANCE UPGRADE OPTIONS

For maximum results, this ECU Performance Optimization can be combined with selected hardware upgrades:

MCE Fuel Guard System
Improves fuel delivery stability and consistency, especially under high load conditions.
Allows more precise calibration and enhances overall engine performance.

MWR Performance Air Filter
A high-flow air filter designed to improve airflow while maintaining reliable filtration.
Enhances throttle response and supports increased power output.

In addition, the intake sound is significantly intensified, delivering a more aggressive and performance-oriented engine character.

When combined with these components, the ECU calibration can be further refined to fully utilize the improved airflow and fuel system stability.
