FAQ
Customer Support
Available Tuesday–Friday during business hours.
Average response time: 24–72 hours (business days).
MCE Performance is personally operated by Martin. All ECU development and customer inquiries are handled directly to ensure maximum quality and precision. Due to high workload and dyno operations, responses may occasionally take slightly longer. Every request is answered carefully and in detail.
What is ECU optimization?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
What is the process after purchasing an ECU tuning service?
After completing your purchase, please carefully remove and securely package your original engine control unit (ECU). If you experience any difficulties removing the ECU from your motorcycle, contact us — we can also carry out the removal and installation directly at our facility.
You can download and print the shipping label to our address from the download section. Please insure your package for the appropriate value and obtain a tracking number.
Additionally, print the order form and include your contact details along with any specific requests or important notes in the designated fields. All details will be reviewed and discussed to ensure your calibration requirements are implemented as precisely as possible.
Processing time is typically less than 72 hours from the time of arrival (business days).
Does modifying the ECU affect my manufacturer warranty or road legality?
Yes.
Any intervention in the engine control unit will void the manufacturer’s warranty as well as the vehicle’s road approval. The extent of the modification does not matter — even a single altered bit can be sufficient for the manufacturer to deny warranty claims.
All products offered are strictly 100% RACE USE ONLY and intended exclusively for competition use on closed racing circuits, even if not explicitly stated otherwise.
Use at your own risk.
It is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws and to understand the potential impact on warranty coverage before proceeding with ECU modifications.
Is quickshifter programming harmful to my gearbox?
No — when properly calibrated, a quickshifter does not cause premature or increased wear on the gearbox.
With correctly adjusted shift times and activation thresholds, gear changes occur smoothly and under controlled load conditions, ensuring reliable and clean operation. Professional calibration is essential to guarantee optimal function and drivetrain protection.
If you ever feel that the shifting behavior is not as smooth as expected, simply get in touch with us. We will gladly review the setup and ensure everything performs as intended.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
